Hi @Sone333 — this sounds like a classic EC failure triggered by hardware changes and outdated firmware.

🧩 Here’s what might be happening:

    • Your BIOS (last updated April 2023) may not fully support newer Windows 11 24H2 features, especially around IRST and MCU handling.
    • The EC may have glitched during the SSD swap, causing storage detection issues.

    🛠️ Try this recovery method:

    1. Create a Windows USB Recovery Disk using Microsoft’s Media Creation Tool.
    2. Boot from the USB or interrupt startup 3 times using the power button to trigger Windows Recovery Environment.
    3. Select “Reset this PC” → choose “Keep my files” (if possible).
    4. After reset, enter BIOS and check if the SSD is detected again.

    📌 If that fails:

    • Flash the latest BIOS from Acer’s support page for the Nitro N50-640.
    • Use IRST drivers from the same page to ensure proper storage controller initialization.

Let me know if you need help with BIOS flashing or IRST setup. This issue has cropped up for several Nitro users post-24H2 upgrade.
