I have three Acer combo 100 wireless desktop sets. (I bought one, it was cheap and I liked it a lot so I bought two spare ones). Yesterday the mouse did not react any longer. I tried a few things, but did not manage to get it working. No problem, I have a spare one. The strange thing is now, that it has the same problem. I tried both sets on another computer, same result: Keyboard OK, no reaction from the mouse. I am not here for warranty or refund or what so ever, but I would like to know: (1) What could have caused this, (2) can it be fixed? It’s a petty to throw them away, because I really like them. I quickly bought a HP now, which I like less. They did not have Acer in the shop nearby, and I needed one quickly to be able to continue to work.

If the Acer Combo 100 mouse is no longer pairing, the issue likely stems from a few common culprits: low battery, connection problems with the receiver, or interference from other devices. Start by checking the batteries and ensuring the receiver is properly connected to the computer. If the problem persists, try re-pairing the mouse, possibly by pressing a pairing button, or consider potential interference from other wireless devices.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of troubleshooting steps:
    1. Check the Basics:
Batteries: Ensure the batteries in the mouse are fresh and installed correctly.
Receiver: Verify the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer. Try a different port if necessary.
Power Switch: Confirm the mouse's power switch (if it has one) is in the "on" position.
Interference: Minimize potential interference from other wireless devices (e.g., other mice, keyboards, Bluetooth devices).
    2. Re-Pairing:
Pairing Button: If your mouse has a pairing button (usually on the bottom), press and hold it for a few seconds to initiate pairing mode.
Computer Settings: On your computer, go to Bluetooth settings (or similar, depending on your operating system) and look for the option to add a new device.
Follow Instructions: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.
    3. Advanced Troubleshooting:
Driver Issues: If re-pairing doesn't work, outdated or corrupted mouse drivers could be the problem. Consider updating or reinstalling the drivers.

    Thank you for your feedback.
    1. New batteries, receiver OK, the keyboard works fine.
    2. There is no pairing button, nor a routine to initiate pairing (that I know of) .
    3. Unlikely to be the drivers, I updated them and I tried it on different computers.
