Not sure what just happened but I think an AI wrote my email?

Opened my laptop to send one boring email. Ended up on some random AI thing I stumbled into by accident (don't ask how, I don’t even know).

Typed in a few words for fun, like “can you make this sound like I care?” — and it did. Way too well, honestly. Slightly offended.

Then I asked it to help with a paragraph I didn’t feel like writing, and now I’m just… sitting here, sipping coffee, watching this machine basically do my job.

Meanwhile my Acer is running like a champ through all of this — fans whispering softly like “you got this buddy.” Which is more support than I’ve gotten from any human today.

Anyway. No point to this post really. Just felt weirdly cool and mildly unsettling. Might drop the AI link in the comments if I remember. Or I’ll just let it write the comment too.

    Hi cbum63
Sounds like you triggered Microsoft Copilot in Outlook or Edge — it’s surprisingly good at sounding like it cares 😅. If you’d rather write solo, you can disable Copilot features in Outlook via admin settings or avoid using the AI buttons. Let me know what app you were using and I can help you turn it off.

Oh right — almost forgot. The site I was messing with is https://deepseekai.free

It’s super basic, runs in browser, but actually helped me untangle some old Python code I pretended I understood. Didn’t even make fun of my terrible variable names, so that was nice 😅
