Nitro Sense power plan not working after Windows 11 upgrade, CPU temps too high on an515-45

Hello everyone. So, I happened to upgrade my nitro laptop (an 515-45) from windows 10 to 11. I'm usually like light gaming (no heavy graphic setting (i set the game as lowest setting as possible)) and i set my nitro sense power plan to power saver so when I use either to doing task or gaming, i keep it as cool as possible ( usually CPU temp below 50-degree Celsius). The problem is after i upgrade it to windows 11, the power saving on the power plan not working anymore (it suddenly makes my CPU temp above 60 degree even when idle). it became normal ( below 40ish degree while idle) when i put the plan on Balance (acer optimized), but when i tried to open the game, the temperature spikes again above 70 degree Celsius). Please help me so i can keep my temperature below 50 C again while gaming :'. I already tried to change the plan setting on control panel to all battery saving yet the temp still spiked..

Hello sir @Puraw, I think I can't roll back to windows 11 23H2 since I directly upgrade from windows 10 to windows 11 (there's no choice when upgrade it automatically download the 24H2). Should I just go back to windows 10 if it'S possible?

Hello @Axxo , I still can choose the power saver on nitro sense but somehow it makes the cpu temperature higher than balance (Acer recommendation) one. And yesterday after I directly upgrade from windows 10 to 11 24h2, my power saving plan is gone from the battery plan settings(?) on control panel. I just don't understand, the CPU usage is so low yet the temperature is spikes. Kinda regret upgrading it but windows 10 will be not getting any update anymore right in a few months.

Hi, you can Clean install Windows11 23H2, prepare a Windows installation disk with RUFUS and download W11 ISO image from UUPdump.net

Hi sir @Puraw, my bios version is still V1.08, 21/07/2021. im not confident enough to clean install windows 11 23h2 like you mention above. i already disable perfomance boost, disable fast start up too from the begining. i dont understand i already set the battery power plan (advance power setting) all to maximize power saving. right now i put it on acer and in nitro sense in balance (acer optimized). The cpu usage both in nitro sense and task manager is low yet the temperature is spikes weirdly. should i stay on windows 11 or should i go back to windows 10? thank you.

Microsoft no longer offers 23H2 directly, but you can get it safely via UUP Dump:Go to: https://uupdump.net

Select Windows 11 23H2
Choose your language and edition (e.g., Home or Pro)
Download the script and run it to generate the ISO

🔧 Step 2: Create a Bootable USB with Rufus

Go to: https://rufus.ie

Download Rufus (portable version is fine)
Insert your USB drive
In Rufus:

hi sir @Puraw, after some consideration, i deciced to roll back to windows 10 again (i still can) and it works fine and normaly like before (thank god). Later i will consult with pc repair shop when it's time to upgrade to windows 11 (maybe they can help me and understand more about manual clean install).
