I submitted my Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 (PHN16-72) for a camera replacement at the service center. After the repair, I noticed that Windows was completely reinstalled, and it was no longer the factory version.
ince then, the PredatorSense app is missing, and attempts to reinstall it have failed. The app does not open at all. I downloaded the version from Acer's official site — including the one inside the UWP folder (specifically for notebooks) — and while that installed successfully, it lacks important features like:
Keyboard lighting control
Mode switch options
Fan/thermal settings
Additionally, the Windows power plan is stuck at "Balanced", and there are no other power options available (like High Performance or Predator mode).
The service center informed me I would need to pay ₹1500 to reinstall Windows, even though my device is still under warranty. Unfortunately, since I purchased the laptop from Dubai, I was told the warranty is not valid in India.
I then performed a clean Windows installation myself and attempted to set up everything from scratch, but the PredatorSense app still refuses to work, and the same limitations persist.
Please help me restore full functionality or provide the correct factory recovery image that includes all pre-installed Acer software and drivers specific to my model. Any assistance or links to the correct version of PredatorSense and related drivers would be greatly appreciated.
