Hello people,

After some driver updates my laptop (Aspire A515-57, Win 11) is not shutting down anymore. When I select the "shut down" option in Windows, it starts to shut down, screen goes dark, but the fans and blue power lights are still on. I must now always press the power button for 5 seconds to force off the laptop.

In another thread (https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/535292/my-laptop-aspire-e15-is-not-shutting-down-properly-after-bios-and-drivers-update) I read that this might be related to the Intel Management Engine interface driver. So, I downloaded the current version from the Acer support page, but it did not fix the problem.

Do you have any suggestion what else I can try? Unfortunately, I do not have a restore point to older version, and I would like to avoid a completely new installation of everything.
