I bought Acer Swift go 14 evo in 2024. From starting 4 months only I use to get 2 hours of battery backup only and I do only web browsing in it in silent mode. Now i am only getting 1.5 hour of battery backup. Even went to service center but no solution they told just to upate bios but noting happened it even degraded battery backup more. Did Battery calibration from acer sense today but that didn't work too!

We first of all need to know which SFG 14 model you have, there have been several. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like SFG14-xxx-xxxx. Typically poor battery performance is caused either by apps running in the background that are resource hogs or settings that use more battery than is needed.

Thanks, that helps a lot. You have a Raptor Lake based system. Do you still have all the trial versions of software, especially the antivirus, still installed? The AV can be a real resource hog once the trial has elapsed. How bright do you have the screen set? How are you typically using the laptop, other than just the web browsing? The web is going to be using a bit more battery to keep the radios active, but that shouldn't be a big load by itself. I believe you have the maximum memory offered on these, 16GB, so that is going to also use a little bit more power than the 8GB versions. Are you using it outdoors, or can you drop the screen brightness down? I run my Spin at about 20 on the scale to 100, and that made a big difference for battery length.

No, I deleted Antivirus a while ago and my screen brightness is always around 5-20 because the battery drained very fast and that has also contributed to eye constraints. I ran battery report also and from 65KWh design capacity it is showing Full charge capacity to be around 60KWh. I use this laptop for online teaching using Google meet and xp pen tablet and battery usually last around 1-1.5 hour only i.e. I'm only able to take 1 class from my laptop on battery which was earlier around 6 hours
