It was gradual, it wasn't working for a little bit, then worked normally. it repeated that way for more time until they completely stopped working.

Is the issue dust/grime/dirt/etc. related? or is it internal.

Swift 3 laptop

thanks if anyone helps

First use a circuitry spray cleaner (this spray cleans and dry's up quickly and will not damage anything) then spay it around these keys and then press the keys up and down and free them up, see if that fixes these keys and makes them functional. If not then you will need to take both keys apart and clean all the parts and the underneath board contacts as that could be dirty also.

Otherwise and if both of the above methods don't work, you will need a new keyboard. If you need a new keyboard, then get back to the community and tell us the full model number of your Swift 3 laptop, like SF31x-xx or AFG14-xx etc. Good luck.
