I have an N60-641 desktop purchased in June. The Acer website treats the serial number as invalid, which tech support claims is because it's "an incredibly new device." This is stupid, but not the point of my question.

I'd like to install Nitrosense, but can't access the drivers/downloads page for my PC because it requires a valid serial number. Is there a direct download link available for Nitrosense?

The best way to access the drivers/downloads page is by going to the Acer support page and type in N60-641 as then all the drivers, documents and bios will come up, your Nitro N60-641 desktop, Acer does not provide the Nitro Sense app, as its not applicable to the desktops. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Thanks! I see this now. I was just hoping to turn off the lights inside the chassis and was surprised to learn the PC didn't ship with software to control them. Apparently there are third party apps available in the unlikely event I don't want my computer lit up like a Christmas tree 24/7. -1 for Acer.

The Acer Nitro N60-641 desktop does not support NitroSense. NitroSense is typically available only for Acer Nitro laptops, but not for the N60-641 desktop model. You can find drivers and BIOS updates for your specific model on the Acer support website. To find the correct drivers and BIOS updates:

Go to the Acer Support website.
Enter your product's serial number, SNID, or model number (N60-641)
    Select your specific model.
Navigate to the "Drivers" or "BIOS/Firmware" section.
Locate the desired download and click the download link.
To turn off PC lights, you may need to adjust settings in the BIOS, use a specific software provided by your motherboard manufacturer, or physically disconnect the lights. Some PCs also have a dedicated button or key combination to control lighting.

Here's a breakdown of how to turn off PC lights, depending on the type of lights and your system:-
    1. Keyboard Backlight:-
Check your keyboard: Look for an illumination icon on keys like F5, F6, F10, or the right arrow key. Turn it off. Press the corresponding key (usually with the Fn key) to cycle through backlight modes (off, low, high).

    2. Case and Component Lights (RGB or LED):-
In BIOS settings: Restart your PC and enter BIOS (usually by pressing Delete, F2, F10, or F12, but check your motherboard manual for the correct key). Navigate to settings related to lighting, LEDs, or RGB customization (often found in Advanced or Onboard Devices Configuration). Disable the lighting or RGB options (e.g., "Turn on onboard LED in S5"). Save the settings and exit BIOS. Manufacturer Software: Install and open software provided by your motherboard or component manufacturer.Find the lighting or RGB control panel. Adjust the settings to turn off the lights or select a different color mode.
