Why does the Acer Swift Go 14 SFG14-63 use 65W battery while AMD models are limited to 53Wh?

I have Swift go P/N:

NXKTSEC003XXXX

I have two questions.

  1. Why is the battery smaller (53Wh) than the Intel, there is enough room for a larger battery.
  2. It she Intel 65Wh battery compatible with the AMD Swift GO 14?

Thank you.

This model is equipped with 3 battery options: 53Wh, 65Wh, and 75Wh.

Here is the battery model list for the SFG14-63:

The Intel version SFG14-73 uses AP23A5L and AP23A8L, which are interchangeable with the SFG14-63.

Well, that is why I don´t understand why Acer gave it the smallest battery. There is room for at least the 65Wh battery.

My guess is cost drives it, the smaller battery is cheaper, so the unit can be offered at a lower price without affecting profit margin.
