What is the full laptop model, something like AL15-41p, and what Windows version are you running?

Start with a full power reset: shut down the laptop, unplug the charger, and hold the power button for 30 seconds, then restart. Next, inspect the charger, try a different charger if possible. Refresh the battery drivers by uninstalling them in Device Manager under "Batteries" and restarting the system; Windows will auto-reinstall them. Then, visit Acer’s official support site, enter your exact model, and check for any available BIOS updates—but only install one if your system is stable.

A blinking charging light on an Acer Aspire Lite laptop while charging typically indicates a battery issue or a problem with the charging system. It could mean the battery needs replacing, the charger is faulty, or there's a problem with the laptop's power circuitry. Troubleshooting steps include checking the charger, trying a different charger, and potentially resetting the laptop.

    Here's a more detailed breakdown:
    Possible Causes:
    Battery Issues:
The most common reason is a failing or dead battery. Batteries have a limited lifespan and can degrade over time.
    Charger Problems:
The charger itself might be faulty, not providing the correct voltage or amperage to charge the battery.
    Power Circuitry:
There could be a problem with the laptop's power board or other internal components related to charging.
    Hardware/BIOS Lock:
In some cases, a flashing blue lock light, along with a red charging indicator and clicking, could indicate a hardware or BIOS lock issue.

    Troubleshooting Steps:
    1. Check the Charger:
Ensure the charger is securely plugged into both the laptop and a working power outlet. Try a different compatible charger if available.
    2. Full Power Reset:
Shut down the laptop, unplug the charger, and hold the power button for 30 seconds to reset the system.
    3. Battery Driver Refresh:
In Device Manager (under "Batteries"), uninstall the battery drivers and restart the computer. Windows will automatically reinstall them.
