Unable to install Predator Sense on clean install of Windows 11 on a P07-640 Desktop

I already posted this in the Predator Desktops section, but saw this and figured this was more appropriate for my problem, since I only got the generic copy paste help messages there.

To start I recently bought a used Predator Orion 7000 desktop with an I7-12700k and an RTX 3080, the RGB just flashes non stop to the point it is giving me a headache, and I just want to set it to a solid color or turn it off completely which seems impossible without the Predator Sense software. The product ID is P07-640-UR11, the bios version is R01-B0 which is the newest version according to the drivers page, and Windows 11 is fully updated, and I have gone as far as completing a full reinstall of Windows 11 tying to get this program to install.

I went to the drivers page for that model and downloaded the Predator Sense software listed for it which is version 3.00.3050, and I cannot get it to install in any usable state. Trying to use the setup.exe just gives an error message saying

"sorry this computer is not supported"

I did some extensive digging and the first useful bit of info I found said to install the appxbundle file in the PredatorSenseUWP folder instead of using the setup.exe, which worked but after installing it, trying to open the program doesn't do anything and still nothing is working.

I went down the rabbit hole some more and found a post talking about how the "sorry this computer is not supported" error message is related to the product name in the system bios not matching the "Predator P07-640" folder in the plugs folder in the Predator sense install folder. Several posts mentioned needing a program called DMItools to change the actual names in the bios, but I haven't found more information on how to get that program or what to do exactly with it.

I am beyond frustrated at this point, this seems insanely complicated to install a basic utility program. it almost feels like if this program was not factory installed there is no way to install it on a new Windows 11 install.

Finally found the solution to this myself, so I'll leave it here for the next person trying to get this garbage installed.

    1. First you need to download the Predator Sense software on the P07-640 Drivers page and unpack it in your downloads folder. In mu case it was the 3.00.3050 version.
    2. Go to the PredatorSenseUWP folder in the main directory and install every APPX file in there, some won't be compatible but try installing them all anyways.
    3. Back in the main directory open the plugs folder and install the SSCERuntime.exe
    4. "IF" everything installed then finally go to the main directory and run the Setup application and it should actually run now and not give the stupid "sorry this computer is not supported" error and actually install.
    5. Run the Predator Sense app and enjoy working case lighting

*It may also need additional windows components such as C++ runtimes etc., also make sure Windows 11 is fully updated and the Bios is the newest R01-B0 version.

    * I am not sure if this made any difference but in the main directory there is the plugs folder, then in that folder there is one labeled 0000000000, inside it is a bunch of different system models, I renamed the "Predator PO7-640 folder to PO7-640-UR11 which is what it shows as my system model in the bios.

Make sure that you have the last bios version R01-B0 installed on your desktop and then try to install the PS v3.0.0.3050 again.

Install PS through the PredatorSenseUWP folder > and then click on this file Fe3bfaa82f548d0bb4af51b92bcf088 > to get this installation window below, as afterwards you will be able to launch PS from within Win-11 > by going to the windows task manager, click windows icon > then go to All and go down to P and you will see the Predator Sense icon, then click that as PS as the app should come up. Btw this method worked for my Nitro Sense installation the same way and it even activated the keyboard icon, which your PO7-640 doesn't have. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

No it has not been answered, Like I said in my initial post, the bios is the newest R01-B0 version listed, and I have already tried to install the appxbundle file in the Predator sense 3.00.3050 version I downloaded from the drivers page, which does install the software but in a broken non useable state. Trying to open the app does nothing, nothing opens, there is nothing shown for it in the task manager or system tray and there is no sign of anything for in in the windows services list. The install listed on the drivers page DOES NOT WORK. Let me summarize again what I have tried.

    1. 2 full clean installs of Windows 11
    2. Tried multiple times in both installs to install version 3.00.3050 on the drivers page with the install exe. which just gives the "sorry this computer is not supported" junk
    3. Tried redownloading the Predator Sense 3.00.3050 multiple times on several computers on the off chance it was corrupted somehow during downloading
    4. Tried installing in safe mode multiple times
    5. Tried installing the appxbundle install multiple times on both windows installs, in normal mode, in safe mode, it installs but the software is broken and does not load, open or have any functionality in Windows 11 regardless of how it was installed.
    6. Spent HOURS searching online for a solution to this, nothing works, the Predator Sense 3.00.3050 version on the Drivers page for the P07-640 does not work, it's either broken or is the wrong version for this SNID.
