Acer ACTAB1125 its been 20 months and havent received any update and the S/N is not recog in Acer

I have an Acer ACTAB1125, purchased 20/03/2025 and now I see "This device hasn't had a system updated in more than 20 months" the tablet will not update so I "tried" asking support on their webpage when I enter my device SN number and/or serial number it is not recognised & I can get no further. so, yes, support are USELESS.

If I had known that this was going to be a problem, with a brand new tablet I would never have brought an Acer tablet!

so learn from this, if you need support you are on your own!

If any Acer support staff read this( I am not holding my breath) get back to me

    Hi Steve,
    I get the frustration, but I think it’s unfair to single out Acer Support. They consistently rank among the top globally in customer service. When it comes to Android tablets, a lot of issues also stem from Google’s ecosystem and third-party app behavior—which aren’t fully under Acer’s control. Sometimes it’s a broader compatibility challenge, not just one brand’s fault.

    I appreciate what you say Puraw, all I can say is from my experience "trying" many times to get support from them all I got were links that do not work on any browser using my laptop, tablet and phone. I have explored all options & avenues and have discovered that Google is not the problem. As the tablet only has Acers O/S & Google on it that just leaves Acer

    As I said in your other thread, Curry's negotiated a special price from Acer by providing all support for the model. You need to check with them to see about updates, Acer does not handle anything for them.
