I cannot find the microphone on this laptop. Settings says there are no input devices. How do I enable the microphone?

Hi, locate the Microphone device in Device manager and check in Properties if it is working:

Then give access to your microphone and test it:

I have sorted it. The sound from this laptop is very tinny, so I installed an audio enhancer called FXSound. This made the sound from the speakers a lot clearer and deeper but also disabled the microphone for some reason. Uninstalling FXSound and reinstalling the microphone driver resolved my issue. However I am still left with an inferior sound quality from the laptop. Any suggestions how I can improve it without losing other functionality?
