My Bluetooth adapter does not accept the 2024 update, so I have to roll back to the old version. I contacted Microsoft support to access the P&C, but they were unable to resolve the issue, citing that the system manufacturer (Acer) had not provided any updates on their website. Any help, please?

Thunderbolt drivers do not need to be updated, whatever model your laptop model number is, the Acer Thunderbolt driver is the proper driver and will work with every Thunderbolt device connected to your USB-C ports. If Microsoft has a Thunderbolt driver update and it doesn't install, then its the wrong driver for your Acer product. Only install the appropriate drivers for your Acer product and do not try and install inappropriate drivers. Good luck.

This is the Bluetooth Hardware. I honestly have no idea about the Thunderbolt device. However, I will learn more about it. Everything gets updated except this Bluetooth hardware. Thank you, sir.

The Thunderbolt device driver is not listed in the Device Manager > Bluetooth section, the Thunderbolt driver is listed in Device Manager > System devices > Thunderbolt controller 1137, that is how its listed on my Predator Neo PHN16-71 model laptop, be aware that your laptop might have a different Thunderbolt controller number then what my laptop has. As my PHN16-71 laptops Thunderbolt driver is the same as what Acer has on their support page for my PHN16-71 and Microsoft has never updated this driver since this laptop was first released on the 03-08-2023.

Configure Thunderbolt Settings in Windows 11 - Once you’ve enabled Thunderbolt in the BIOS/UEFI, you can configure its settings in Windows 11.

    1. Open Thunderbolt Control Center: Click the Start button, type "Thunderbolt Control Center" in the search bar, and press Enter.
    2. Grant Permissions: Upon first opening, you may see a prompt asking you to allow Thunderbolt control. Click "Yes" or "Allow" to permit the software to manage Thunderbolt devices.
    3. Device Management: From the Thunderbolt Control Center, you can see connected devices and configure settings such as security and connection preferences.
    4. Enable/Deny Connection: When connecting a new Thunderbolt device, you’ll typically receive a prompt asking whether to allow the connection. Select "Allow" to enable the device.

For all other Thunderbolt guides in Win-11 see this tutorial here "How to enable thunderbolt on Windows 11" so that you know every thing about Thunderbolt port and connections.

This is how the Thunderbolt Control Cente should look like if you have any Thundrbolt devices they will appear in Port 1 and Port 2

If your Bluetooth adapter is not accepting the 2024 update, it's likely due to driver issues or compatibility problems. Try restarting your computer, updating the driver through Device Manager, or manually downloading the latest driver from the manufacturer's website. If those steps don't work, consider running the Bluetooth troubleshooter, resetting the adapter, or checking for other potential conflicts.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of troubleshooting steps:-

    1. Restart Your Computer: A simple restart can resolve many temporary issues.
    2. Update the Bluetooth Driver:
Open Device Manager (search for it in the Start menu).
    Expand the "Bluetooth" category.
Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter (it might be listed as "Intel Wireless Bluetooth" or similar).
    Select "Update driver".
Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software".
If Windows can't find a newer driver, you can try searching for the driver on the manufacturer's website (e.g., Intel, Realtek).
If you download a driver package, you may need to manually browse to the location of the driver files during the "Update driver" process.
    3. Uninstall and Reinstall the Driver:
Open Device Manager and locate your Bluetooth adapter.
    Right-click and select "Uninstall device."
Important: Check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device" if available. This ensures you're doing a clean reinstall.
Restart your computer. Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver automatically.

    4. Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter:
Open Settings and go to "System" > "Troubleshoot" > "Other troubleshooters" (or "Additional troubleshooters").
    Run the "Bluetooth" troubleshooter.
The troubleshooter may automatically detect and fix issues.
    5. Check for Other Bluetooth Devices:
Make sure no other Bluetooth devices are interfering or conflicting with the adapter.
Disable or remove other Bluetooth devices in Device Manager.
    6. Reset the Bluetooth Adapter:
In Device Manager, right-click your Bluetooth adapter and select "Properties".
Go to the "Driver" tab and click "Roll Back Driver" if the option is available.

If "Roll Back Driver" is not available, try uninstalling the driver and then restart the computer.
If you're using a USB Bluetooth adapter, try plugging it into a different USB port or even another computer to see if it works.
    7. Check for Flight Mode:
Ensure that airplane mode (or flight mode) is disabled, as it will turn off Bluetooth.
    8. Consider a Factory Reset:
As a last resort, you can try resetting your computer to its factory settings. This will erase all data, so back up your important files before proceeding.
