I was wondering what cpu fan coolers are compatible with the nitro n50-650 4060 i5-13400f because it can get quite noisy while playing certain games the temps are fine but I’d like a quieter cpu fan cooler as I’m assuming that’s making the noise so any quiet cpu fans that will fit would be very much appreciated this is also my first gaming pc so links would be appreciated.

Before you do anything, make sure that you have the last N50-640 bios update version R01-B1 installed, as this bios version is accumulative and has the important bios version R01-A3 update for the 13th Gen Intel voltage and overheating CPU microcode update to M0290672_00000018 version, which fixes this Intel fault of the 13th Gen cpu's.

Now, the cpu cooler that most community members have used on these Nitro N50-6xx models or the Predator PO3, PO5 or PO7 gaming desktops is the Noctua type dry cpu coolers range, as they are the quietest and best and are just as good as an AIO water cpu coolers. The Noctua model suitable for your N50-650 model is the NH-U9S chromax_black with its 92mm fans which I would upgrade to its optional 2nd fan for extra cpu cooling, as this cpu cooler is the best and most compact cooler for your N50-650 desktop that I would recommend as an upgrade,

You can also fit the bigger Noctua NH-U12S chromax_black with the 122mm fan if you wish, which has a bigger fan but and due to the compact size of the Nitro N50-650 desktop internal size I recommend that you upgrade to the NH-U9S chromax_balck. Good luck and hope this gives you a good guide to what you should upgrade to, as just upgrading the cpu cooler will do nothing if your N50-650 doesn't have the upper components described below, that is what Acer has and Acer recommends.

Note: if you want to upgrade your Nitro N50-650 desktop to a mid to high end gaming platform desktop, you need to also upgrade to the GeForce RTX3060 TI 8GB GDDR6 gpu (that the min oem 500W Acer PSU can power) and also upgrade to the Crucial 64GB Kit Ram (2x 32GB DDR4-3200MT/s CL22 type ram modules) and also remember that the RTX3060Ti can only be powered by the Acer oem 500W PSU. Good luck and hope this helps you out with your upgrade and what you can upgrade this desktop to.

These are the required higher end optional GPU and PSU components listed by Acer for the N50-650 desktop, the Crucial ram (which is a Micron manufactured ram) is the most suitable 64GB kit ram for this desktop also.
