I recently bought a Predator Orion 7000 desktop with an I7-12700k and a RTX 3080. It had a clean installation of windows 11 on it and I have been trying to get the Predator Sense software installed to control the RGB because currently it's just flashing and driving me nuts.

I installed the serial detection software, verified the model is a Predator PO7-640 and downloaded the Predator Sense listed on the drivers page. After unzipping it I tried to install with the setup.exe in the folder and it just says "sorry this computer is not supported"

After more searching I found a post saying it needs to be installed with the appxbundle file in the PredatorSenseUWP folder. I installed it and it completed but the app will not open at all and that's where I'm stuck, I've tried uninstalling reinstalling, safe mode, everything and the Predator Sense app just doesn't work. What am I missing?

If your PredatorSense software has been removed or is not working, You can download and install the latest version from our download support site using the instructions below.

    1. Visit the website https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/drivers-and-manuals. Acer Download Site.png
    2. Enter your device Serial NumberSNID or Model number to identify your device. Acer Download Site Product Selection.png
    3. Click on the Application tab, then click the Download link next to PredatorSense. PredatorSense Software Download.png

    4. Locate the file you downloaded and right-click the file and select Extract.

    Extract PredatorSense Software.png

    5. Navigate to the folder where the file extracted, then double-click the file to install the software.

    Run PredatorSense Setup.png

That is what I already have tried, the version of Predator Sense it had listed for my model will not install when I try to run the setup.exe in the unpacked folder. It just says:

"Sorry this computer is not supported"

Have you tried the below step

To install PredatorSense on your Acer Predator P07-640 desktop, you'll first need to access the Acer App Center on your computer, as it's the central location for managing installed software. From there, you can locate and install PredatorSense, which is the utility app for controlling various aspects of your gaming rig like temperature monitoring, overclocking, RGB customization, and more.

Click on 'Yes' if the comment answers your question!

Ok how do I get the app center? That link just goes to the default Predator sense overview page with no download options I can see. To me it looks like the Acer App center is part of Predator Sense. Doing a search just leads me to Acer care center which I have installed but gives just basic system information and no options to install the Predator Sense Software. I read through many more posts looking for an answer and found one mentioning the "sorry this computer is not supported" error message is related to the product name in the system bios not matching the "Predator P07-640" folder in the plugs folder in the Predator sense install folder. Several posts mentioned needing a program called DMItools to change the actual names in the bios, but I haven't found more information on how to get that program or what to do exactly with it. This seems insanely complicated to install a basic utility program.
