Depending from what year your laptop is it could be a depleted battery. You can try first to reset the CMOS: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the CMOS module (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black under the battery) and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- terminals inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds after that remove the RAM modules, if you have a spare module insert that or just firmly replace the original RAM modules in the slots, reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot. If that did not fix it replace the battery.

First, try a battery reset if your laptop has a small pinhole reset button. Use a paperclip to press and hold it for a few seconds.

If that doesn't work, perform a power drain by disconnecting the power adapter and battery (if removable). Then, press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds before reconnecting the adapter and attempting to power on the laptop.

If the issue persists, consider performing a CMOS reset by unplugging the battery cable, removing the CMOS battery, briefly shorting its contacts, and then reinserting both.

Another approach is to check the RAM by reseating the modules if your laptop has removable memory sticks.

Lastly, ensure that the power adapter is functioning properly by testing a different charger or outlet.
