Hi, a week ago my laptop started crashing with an error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I've tried everything, tried researching what could cause it but it's still happening. I've reinstalled whole windows and that also didn't help. Here are 2 dmp files that I have right now in Minidump folder: https://limewire.com/d/fWBIr#nmvjMbHa7X

Both crashes happened when playing League of Legends, but that doesn't matter because it also happened after installing fresh windows when I didn't had it yet.

Hi, boot to Safe Mode (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-startup-settings-1af6ec8c-4d4a-4b23-adb7-e76eef0b847f) and work for a while offline, if you don't crash I suspect that the dGPU driver is broken or incompatible with your OS assuming you have a Nitro laptop. Download DDU from Wagnardsoft.com and in Safe Mode uninstall the Nvidia dGPU driver (see red arrow, picture) don't install but let Windows find the best driver, that will either be installed or offered in Optional updates when you "Check for updates" in Windows.

You are not posting your laptop model but if this does not fix the crashing you may have a graphics card problem and then taking it to Acer Services in your country is the best solution.

    Hi @sqkk ,

If you're still getting IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL after a fresh Windows install, it's likely hardware-related — often bad RAM, a failing driver, or thermal issues.

    Try this:

    1. Run Windows Memory Diagnostic or MemTest86 to check your RAM.
    2. Update all drivers (especially GPU, chipset).
    3. Check for overheating or dust buildup.
    4. If you added new hardware recently, test without it.

Since the crash happens even without games installed, RAM or a faulty driver is the most likely cause. Let us know what MemTest shows!

Hi @Puraw and @raohenry. Thank you for the quick answer! My laptop model is Nitro AN517-55 I forgot to include that in the post. Will try things that both of you said and then let you know if BDOS happened again 🤗
