Hi, Boot to BIOS with F2 and press Ctrl+S to show the hidden settings in Main, enable the Keyboard backlight Timeout settings and press F10 (see red box, picture0

Try using Fn + F8, Fn + F9, or Fn + F10 to toggle or adjust the backlight brightness. If this does not work, check the settings in Windows by navigating to Settings > Devices > Keyboard, where backlight options may be available. Another approach is accessing the BIOS by restarting your laptop and pressing F2 or Del during startup, then looking for any keyboard lighting controls. Additionally, reinstalling keyboard drivers via Device Manager might help restore functionality

To turn off the keyboard backlight on an Acer Aspire Lite AL15-41, you typically need to press the Fn + F9 keys simultaneously. If this doesn't work, try pressing Fn + F10 to cycle through the backlight brightness settings, including turning it off. If the backlight still doesn't turn off, check the Acer support website or your laptop's manual for specific instructions.

    Here's a more detailed breakdown:
    1. Locate the Fn key:
This key is usually found in the bottom row of your keyboard, often next to the Ctrl key.
    2. Locate the F9 key:
This key is typically located in the top row of your keyboard, and it often has a symbol of a keyboard with a light bulb on it.
    3. Press Fn + F9:
Simultaneously press and hold the Fn key and then press the F9 key.
    4. Cycle through brightness settings:
If the backlight doesn't turn off immediately, try pressing Fn + F10 to cycle through the brightness settings, which may include an off setting.
    5. Consult the manual:
If the above steps don't work, refer to your laptop's user manual or the Acer support website for specific instructions related to your model.
