We can't answer that without knowing what computer you have. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx. If that is a picture of your motherboard, it's not the norm for either a desktop or laptop. What do you actually have?

When a charger's indicator light blinks as if power is being reversed, it likely means the charger or the device it's connected to is not receiving a stable power supply. This could be due to a faulty charger, a problem with the battery, or even an issue with the charging port. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the potential causes and troubleshooting steps:

    Possible Causes:-

    • Faulty Charger:The charger itself might be damaged or malfunctioning, preventing it from delivering power correctly.
    • Battery Issues:The battery could be low, damaged, or not properly connected, causing the charger to react to the unstable power situation.
    • Charging Port Problems:The charging port on the device might be damaged or have a loose connection, preventing proper power delivery.
    • Power Supply Issues:The power outlet or the power cable connecting the charger to the wall might have a loose connection or be damaged, leading to a fluctuating power supply.

    Troubleshooting Steps:

    1. Check the Connection: Ensure the charger cable is securely connected to both the charger and the device.
    2. Test with a Different Charger: Try using a different compatible charger to see if the blinking light persists.
    3. Inspect the Charging Port: Check the charging port on the device for any damage or debris.
    4. Try a Different Outlet: Plug the charger into a different outlet to rule out any issues with the specific outlet.
    5. Check the Power Cable: Inspect the power cable for any damage or wear.
    6. Reset the Device (if applicable): For some devices, a reset may help resolve charging issues.
    7. Consult the Manufacturer: If the problem persists, contact the device or charger manufacturer for further assistance.

If the blinking light indicates a charging problem, here's what it might mean:

    • Blinking Light:Often indicates that the battery is charging, but it could also indicate an issue with the power supply or a problem with the battery.
    • No Charging at All:If the device is not charging, it could be due to a faulty charger, a bad battery, or a damaged charging port.

If the blinking light seems to indicate reversed polarity (which is rare with modern chargers):

    • Reversed Polarity: This usually happens when the positive and negative wires of a power source are connected incorrectly. It's not typically a factor in modern chargers, but it's a possibility in older or custom setups.

In summary: If you're seeing a blinking indicator light that seems to indicate reversed power, it's crucial to check the charger, the device's charging port, and the power supply to identify the source of the problem.
