Needed more space, removed the current NVME and installed new. Used an MS Win11 USB installer, will not see the drive, BIOS shows its there. Took out the NVME and installed in a 13th gen pc and installed Win 11. Bios shows it, boots to an unrepairable blue screen.

Encryption?

    • If your Acer TravelMate P216-51 laptop won't boot, try a hard restart by holding the power button for 30 seconds, disconnecting the power cable and battery, holding the power button for 15-20 seconds, and then reinserting the battery and reconnecting the power cord. If that doesn't work, check the power source, remove any unnecessary devices, and try accessing the BIOS settings. If the laptop still won't boot, consider scanning for malware, reinstalling the operating system, or seeking professional help. Detailed Steps:-
      1. 1. Hard Restart:
        • Hold the power button down for 30 seconds to completely shut down the laptop.
        • Disconnect the power cable and remove the battery.
        • Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
        • Reinsert the battery and reconnect the power cord.
        • Press the power button to turn on the laptop.
      2. 2. Check Power Source:
        • Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the laptop and the wall outlet.
        • Check if the power light is on or if the laptop is charging.
      3. 3. Remove Extraneous Devices:
        • Disconnect any external hard drives, USB drives, or other peripherals.
        • Try booting the laptop without any connected devices.
      4. 4. Access BIOS Settings:
        • Consult your laptop's manual to determine the BIOS key (usually F2, F12, or DEL).
        • Press and hold the BIOS key during the startup sequence.
        • Try loading default settings or updating the BIOS.
      5. 5. Scan for Malware:
        • Use a reputable antivirus program to scan for and remove any malware.
        • Ensure your antivirus software is up-to-date.
      6. 6. Reinstall Operating System:
        • If other troubleshooting steps fail, consider reinstalling the operating system.
        • You may need to use a recovery disk or bootable USB drive.
      7. 7. Seek Professional Help:
        • If you are unable to resolve the issue, consult with a qualified technician or contact Acer support.
