NitroSense not opening after reinstall on Nitro 5 AN515-57

I'm using an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57. Recently, NitroSense stopped working — it only showed the loading screen and then disappeared. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling NitroSense using the official installer from Acer's support website, but now it doesn't even show the loading screen anymore.

I also made sure all drivers are installed and up-to-date (chipset, DPTF, VGA, etc.), including the correct version of NitroSense. I've verified the PredatorSense Service is running, tried the lodctr /R command, and restarted my system, but nothing works.

Hi, there are several versions of NS available, uninstall NS in Windows "Add or remove programs" and Stop-disable nsSvc in Properties Windows Services, download NS version 3.01.3046_20220617 dated 2022/09/05.

If NitroSense isn't opening after a reinstall on your Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57, try these steps:

    1. 1. Run NitroSense applications as administrator:Navigate to C:\Program Files\Acer\NitroSense Service, and run all NitroSense applications (starting with "PS...") as an administrator.
    2. 2. Reinstall using the APPXBUNDLE file:Find the APPXBUNDLE file (e.g., ba4fabaecaf34ebebd9228c1690a2a96) within the NitroSense V3.1 folder (or the corresponding folder for your NitroSense version) within the installer folder. Open it, select "Reinstall," and NitroSense should work again.
    3. 3. Ensure proper driver installation:Check if you've installed the correct drivers for NitroSense. Some users have reported success after downloading and installing specific drivers for their Acer Nitro 5 model.
    4. 4. Check for updates:Make sure your Windows operating system and NitroSense are up to date. Check for any available updates for both.
    5. 5. Use BulkCrapUninstaller:If uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't work, try using BulkCrapUninstaller to remove NitroSense. It might find and delete lingering files that are preventing NitroSense from opening.
    6. 6. Run Command Prompt as Administrator:After reinstalling, open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following command (without the quotation marks): . \\lodctr.exe /R
    7. 7. Restart the laptop:After making changes or reinstalling, always restart your laptop to ensure all changes are applied correctly.
