Devices crash due to insufficient RAM, too many background programs, and outdated device drivers. To fix this, you can simply restart in safe mode. Close all the unwanted programs and, most importantly, update your graphics card drivers. Also update your BIOS.

If your Predator 300 laptop crashes while idling, it could be due to several reasons, including software issues, driver problems, hardware issues, or even overheating. Here's a breakdown of troubleshooting steps you can take:

    1. Software and Driver Issues:
      Check for Updates:
Ensure your Windows operating system and all device drivers (especially graphics drivers) are up-to-date. You can check for updates through Windows Update and download the latest drivers from Acer's website or the manufacturer of your components (e.g., NVIDIA, AMD).
      Uninstall and Reinstall Drivers:
If you suspect corrupted drivers, try uninstalling the current graphics driver using a utility like Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and then reinstalling the latest driver.
      Check for Conflicts:
Sometimes, conflicting software can cause crashes. Try booting into Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. If it doesn't, the problem is likely with a third-party program or software.
    2. Hardware Issues:
      Overheating:
Monitor your laptop's temperature. If it's consistently getting too hot, it could be causing crashes, especially when idling. Clean the laptop's vents, ensure proper ventilation, and consider upgrading your cooling system.
      Hardware Failures:
If the issue persists after trying software solutions, there might be a hardware problem, like a failing RAM module or hard drive. You can try running memory diagnostics using Windows Memory Diagnostic or other tools.
    3. Other Troubleshooting Steps:
      Check System Logs:
Windows Event Viewer can provide more information about why the laptop is crashing. Look for error logs that might indicate the cause.
      Factory Reset:
As a last resort, you can try performing a factory reset on your laptop. This will erase all data but can help identify if the issue is software-related.
    4. Specifics for Predator Helios 300:
      Predator Sense:
Some users have reported issues with Predator Sense software. If you're using it, try disabling or uninstalling it to see if that resolves the problem.

    hello again,

I already did all that and still the same, i think this problem starts when i activate the tpm using framware program i mentioned it up, so maybe if there is a way to reinstall the bios cuz tpm was not there in the options and after i used this tool it appears.
