Hi,
I have a Predator Helios Neo 16 2024, 14900hx, 4070 with the latest BIOS 1.16.
I tried different methods to enable the advanced BIOS menu, but was unsuccessful.
- ctrl + s
- forcefully shutting down in the BIOS and keeping Fn + tab
- pressing F4 - v,F5 - b, F6 - n
I concluded that enabling that option in the NEO version is impossible. However, it might be possible in Predator Helios. Does anyone have access to 2 advanced menus in the BIOS of the same HW and BIOS version as mine? It's important to be the exact same HW and BIOS version.
Thanks

Hi, I have the PHN16-71, IMO the BIOS version 1.16 for your PHN16-72 does have some hidden advanced settings. Pressing Ctrl + S in the BIOS can reveal additional options, but based on user reports, it seems that the only extra setting unlocked this way is VMD (Volume Management Device). If you're looking for more advanced settings like power limiting or disabling overclocking, those options are not available in the BIOS. The PHN16-72 does not support overclocking, as the CPU is locked. However, you can adjust power settings using software like ThrottleStop or MSI Afterburner, or tweak the Maximum Processor Power State in Advanced Power Settings.

First of all, thanks for your response, and you are right about Ctrl+S, which only enables 1 item in the same advanced menu. What I'm looking for is the second advanced menu.
I cloned my factory 1TB to an aftermarket 4TB (with 2 hidden partitions), but I got 0xc00000e, and although BIOS shows 2 NVMes (1 & 4 TB), Windows recovery (24H2) and Windows installation didn't detect any NVMes. The problem was with the IRST driver. I read somewhere that in BIOS, the IRST option should be active. Although I solved my problem by manually loading IRST in recovery cmd, the question mark remained about how my 2000 euros gaming laptop with 14900hx doesn't have an advanced BIOS menu, why my Kingston Fury Renegade or even original SK Hynix are not detected automatically by 24H2 Windows or other Boot repair software. So I started by looking for answers about the second advanced menu. Why do you think I don't have the second advanced menu? Is it because my laptop is a NEO series? So it has limited settings compared to Predator Helios?

You can disable the VMD controller, which is the same as the Intel RST.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
