Hello,
I have a question about my Acer Swift laptop. I accidentally spilled a small amount of a sugary drink on the keyboard, and now some of the keys feel sticky. Is it possible to remove the individual keys and clean underneath without disassembling the entire laptop? Or would it be better to open the laptop from the back and clean it that way? And also, what should I use to clean my laptop?
Thanks in advance for any help! :)

There are chances that the liquid might gone inside. so it's better to open the laptop from the back and clean it.

Use minimal amounts of water, for sugary liquids as its the best liquid to use to clean the sugar off the keys, also use a cotton bud to dab the keys and then dry the water with a heat gun or hair dryer,. but you need to disconnect the battery and keyboard from the mainboard so no water destroys the keyboard or shorts the mainboard, make sure that the keys are completely dry before you reconnect the keyboard and the mainboard. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Yeah, this is bad :-) I had similar experience with my daughter's laptop :-) Liquid "traveled" between keyboard "layers", there's foil, then main board, then another thin layer, and another from the bottom. I tried my best, but things got even worse over time. I ended up with buying new keyboard :-) Hopefully you'll fix it with more luck than me ;-)

But are the individual keys removable from the front, or will I break it if I try to remove them to clean under them?

And if I really have to open the laptop from the back what should I use to clean the laptop? I have read that isopropyl-alcohol is the best way to clean electronic devices. Is that true or is there something better?

You can take the keyboard keys out and apart, but make sure that you don't lose any parts that belong to these keys, then use WATER ONLY for a sugary liquid as isopropyl-alcohol does not clean the sugar out completely, simple water will do that very easily with a cotton bud and tissues to initially dry the water then lightly dry the remaining liquid with a heat gun or hair dryer, . I've done this allot of times and it works 100% and its the best.
