Hi,

My z24 screen is not showing a display. Looks dull but lit.

Hasn’t been knocked or anything obvious.

I can run the computer of a monitor.

If your Z24n monitor is displaying a blank screen, the first step is to check the power and connections. Ensure the monitor is plugged into a working power outlet and the video cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB-C) is securely connected to both the monitor and the computer. If the power light is blinking, it might indicate a power issue or a need for a reset.
Here's a more detailed troubleshooting guide:

    1. Power and Connections:
      Power Check:
Make sure the monitor is plugged into a working power outlet and the power cord is not damaged.
      Cable Check:
Inspect the video cable for any damage and ensure it's securely plugged into both the monitor and the computer.
      Test with another cable:
Try a different video cable to rule out a faulty cable.
      Test with another computer:
If possible, try connecting the monitor to a different computer to see if the issue is with the monitor or the computer.
    2. Reset and Restart:
      Monitor Reset:
Unplug the monitor from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. This can sometimes reset the monitor's display settings.
      Computer Restart:
Restart your computer, as this can resolve software-related display issues.
    3. Check Monitor Settings:
      Input Source:
Make sure the monitor is set to the correct input source (e.g., HDMI, DisplayPort).
      Factory Reset:
If the monitor has a menu, try a factory reset to restore it to its default settings.
    4. Other Potential Issues:
Driver Issues: Ensure your computer's graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause display problems.
Interference: If you're using dual monitors, make sure the cables aren't interfering with each other.
Damaged Port: Check for physical damage to the video port on your computer.
