Upgraded to 32GB RAM on TC-780-acki5 but only 16GB detected?

so I upgraded from 16 to 32gb ram on my tc-780-acki5 but it only shows I have a maximum of 16gb still I'm more then certain there's a setting or maybe I need to update something to get it to register the full 32gb I'm just not sure what any help would be greatly appreciated

    There could be different reasons why the ram is not detected, first check the ram slot where the new ram was inserted if the slot pins haven't come lose from the board. Second did you buy the same exact ram that you had with the old 1x 16GB module, as you need to match all the exact ram specs. The Aspire TC-780 desktop works on a max total of 32GB DDR4-2400MT/s CL17 type ram and this ram has to be normal ram and not XMP overclocked ram, its also best to upgrade to a 32GB kit, where the ram modules are paired for best performance.
