Without knowing what computer you have, we aren't going to be able to come up with many suggestions… Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx.

If your laptop speakers aren't working, start by checking the volume settings and ensuring the speakers are not muted or disabled in your system's sound settings. If that doesn't work, try restarting your laptop, updating or reinstalling your audio drivers, and verifying that the correct output device is selected.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of troubleshooting steps:

    1. Check Basic Settings:
Volume: Ensure the volume is turned up on your laptop and in the specific app you are using.
Mute: Make sure the speaker is not muted in Windows sound settings.
Output Device: Check that your laptop's internal speakers are selected as the default output device.
    2. Restart and Update Drivers:
Restart: A simple restart can often resolve minor software glitches.
Driver Updates: Outdated or corrupted audio drivers can cause sound problems. Update or reinstall your audio drivers through Device Manager on Windows.
    3. Advanced Troubleshooting:
      Audio Troubleshooter:
Windows has a built-in audio troubleshooter that can automatically diagnose and fix audio issues.
      Disable Audio Enhancements:
Sometimes, audio enhancements in Windows can interfere with sound playback. Try disabling them.
      Check for Conflicts:
If you recently installed new software or updated Windows, it could be conflicting with your audio drivers.
