Hi @tony006 please provide the exact model of your monitor and what type of connection it has to the computer.
Did the sound work before this problem?

If the monitor's speakers are not working, it's usually due to incorrectly configured settings or cables. There are a few things you can do to solve this issue, like checking your connections, adjusting the volume, performing a sound test, or playing sound using a device other than your monitor.
On the right side under Related Settings, locate and click Sound Control Panel. This will open up a new, smaller window. On the Playback tab, you should see a few options listed. These should include Speakers and another option for the external display (typically a monitor icon with a green indicator beneath it).
An outdated HDMI Audio Driver might also lead to trouble. You can either upgrade the same or re-install them to get rid of the same. Check the sound settings of your display device, as the problem occurs if speakers are selected instead of the HDMI port in default sound settings.
