Hi @Alexis2036 the best thing to do in these cases is to have the equipment checked by a technical service provider; it's difficult to determine the cause of the problem from a local location.
Contact Acer directly using the following link. Depending on your area, they may be able to recommend an official Acer technical service provider who can examine the equipment and provide a repair estimate to determine the price.

If your Acer Nitro 17 N23Q4 laptop is randomly refusing to turn on, it could be due to a few potential issues, including a faulty power supply, internal component failure, or software glitches. Here's a breakdown of troubleshooting steps and possible solutions:

    1. Basic Checks and Reset:-
      Power Source and Connections:
Ensure the AC adapter is securely connected to both the laptop and a working power outlet. Try a different outlet or bypass a surge protector to rule out outlet issues.
      Power Button Reset:
Hold down the power button for 30 seconds while disconnected from the charger and battery (if removable).
      Battery Reset (if applicable):
If your laptop has a removable battery, try removing it and then reconnecting it.
    2. Advanced Troubleshooting:
      Power Adapter:
Test with a different, known-working power adapter if possible.
      Hard Reset (if necessary):
Some Acer laptops have a reset pinhole (usually with a battery symbol). Use a paperclip to press the pinhole for a few seconds.
      BIOS/UEFI Reset:
If the above steps don't work, you may need to reset the BIOS/UEFI settings. This can be done by removing the CMOS battery (requires opening the laptop's case) or by using a BIOS reset button (if available on your model)
      Check for Visual Damage:
Inspect the laptop for any obvious signs of damage, such as cracks, discoloration, or burnt components near the power jack or motherboard.
      Software Issues:
If the laptop powers on but displays errors or freezes, it could be a software issue. Try booting from a recovery USB drive or reinstalling the operating system.
    3. When to Seek Professional Help:
      No Signs of Life:
If the laptop doesn't respond to any of the above steps and shows no signs of power, it's likely a hardware issue that requires professional diagnosis and repair.
      Frequent Shutdowns:
If the laptop is shutting down randomly even when working, it could be a thermal issue or a more serious hardware problem.
