I'm using an Aspire 5742g now. Yes, it's quite old PC. I cannot access the Internet via ethernet because Win10 cannot detect any driver or controller for it. I researched on the whole Internet for the solution but couldn't. I hope someone knows the solution.

Here's the screenshot of device manager for the proof (sorry for those who doesn't understand Turkish).

Greetings @sourtimes You can find this old driver on other pages, or with a driver search engine.

    In turkey:

Selamlar @sourtimes Bu eski sürücüyü diğer sayfalarda veya bir sürücü arama motorunda bulabilirsiniz.

[One good thing is that I do know English]

To get the correct Ethernet driver for your Acer Aspire 5742g running Windows 10, you can either visit the Acer Support website or use Windows Update. The Acer Support website provides specific drivers for your model, while Windows Update may offer generic drivers.
Here's how to find and install the driver:

    1. Using the Acer Support Website:
Go to the Acer Support website.
Enter your Aspire 5742g model number (or SNID) to find the correct drivers for your specific laptop.
Locate the "Network" or "Ethernet" driver section.
Download the driver file and follow the installation instructions provided.
    2. Using Windows Update:
Open Windows Settings and navigate to "Update & Security".
      Click on "Check for updates".
Windows Update may automatically find and install a compatible driver for your Ethernet card.
If a driver is found, it will be installed during the update process.
    3. Manually Installing the Driver:
If you download the driver from the Acer Support website, you'll need to install it manually.
Open Device Manager and locate your Ethernet adapter (it may be under "Network adapters").
Right-click on the adapter and select "Update driver".
Choose "Browse my computer for drivers".
Browse to the location where you downloaded the driver file and select it.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
