What is the full model number of your Acer Aspire Lite? ALXX-XX

Sometimes, driver updates can cause conflicts. You could try rolling back the AMD Radeon graphics driver to a previous version to see if the air vent starts functioning again.

Ensure your laptop's BIOS version is UpToDate and restore the AMD drivers. You can find updates on Acer's support page. Acer Downloads

Try to Adjust Windows Power Settings by navigating to Control Panel > Power Options, selecting High Performance or Balanced mode, then modifying Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings to set the System Cooling Policy under Processor power management to Active.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

If the air vent on your Acer Aspire Lite laptop with an AMD Ryzen 7 5000 series processor isn't working, it could be due to a few reasons. First, check for any physical obstructions like dust or debris that might be blocking the vent. You can use compressed air to gently blow out any blockage. If that doesn't help, you might need to investigate the cooling fan itself to ensure it's functioning properly. If the fan isn't spinning or is making unusual noises, it could be a sign of a mechanical issue. Finally, if the laptop is overheating despite the fan and vents seemingly working, there might be a thermal paste issue or a problem with the heat sink, which would require professional repair.
