Hi, what is the full model? Try resetting the battery, there is a small pinhole in the back of your laptop (with a battery sign), stick a pin in that hole till you feel it click (micro switch), keep pressing the pin for a few seconds. If the laptop is older there may be a bad contact or power button issue, in that case consider taking it to an Acer accredited PC workshop for checking.

Do a Hard reset as the EC or the Chipset or bios could be frozen and need resetting, so do this first:

Hard Reset - Remove the back screws securing the lower case to the upper case of the laptop, starting from the upper side, pry to release the upper side latches, continue releasing the remaining latches. Then remove the lower case.

Disconnect the main battery cable from the mainboard and take the main battery out. then disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery and then short the batteries + & - pins at the mainboard plug to reset CMOS and then take the ran out.

Leave the laptop like that for at about 30min and then reconnect everything, if you have 2x ram modules, only connect 1x ram module and alternate the two ram modules and see if its not the ram that is faulty, as a faulty ram can cause a laptop to not boot also, but after reconnecting everything the laptop should turn on and boot properly.

If the laptop doesn't boot still, then take your Aspire to a technician as it could have a faulty main power rail or a faulty EC chip that needs replacing, but the worst case is that its got a fried cpu and that will need a new mainboard. Good luck.

Start by checking the power adapter and testing it with another outlet or charger. A hard reset by holding the power button for 30 seconds may help, and using the battery reset pinhole for 5 seconds can also be effective. Disconnect any external devices that might interfere with startup and allow the laptop to cool if overheating was an issue. If possible, test with another charger to rule out power adapter problems.
