Hello Community!

I'm a newbie. I just bought an Acer Aspire 3 Intel Core i5-1235U Laptop (A324-51). I observed unlike Hp & Lenovo, Acer doesn't have its own application for BIOS & DRIVERS update. I also visited the support link of Acer and entered the Serial Number of my machine in the search and found my registered machine. Nevertheless, when I did click on my product it again asks me to search. Even if I click on the Drivers & Manuals link, it again asks me to enter the serial number.

I'm confused. Please help, for I don't know whether my BIOS & DRIVERS are updated and up to date.

  • The Acer Aspire 3 A324-51 is exclusively available in India. Acer frequently offers models designed for specific regional markets, adjusting specifications and pricing to cater to local needs and preferences. For drivers, refer to the link below.

    Hi there,

Thanks for your reply and concern. I visited the Driver's link and entered the machine's serial number, but O did not find anything meaningful. I attached a screenshot for your reference. Please help.

    Hi,

I know this is an old thread.

I just found this model on Amazon India.

    Acer Aspire 3 Intel Core i3-1215U Processor Laptop with 35.56 cm (14") Full HD LED IPS Display (8 GB RAM/512 GB SSD/WiFi 6/Intel Graphics/Windows11 Home/65W) A324-51

It seems some drivers are now available at this link

    https://www.acer.com/in-en/support/product-support/A324-51/downloads

However there's no mention of any BIOS update. So it looks like this is a 'cost-cutting' model where just basic drivers are available and the vendor may not come up with BIOS update unless absolutely necessary.
