Hi, connect a TV or external monitor to check if the problem is the GPU card or your internal screen, if the problem is with the screen take the laptop to Acer Services in your country to check the EDP cable connections.

First, perform a hard reset by turning off your laptop, unplugging the charger, and holding the power button for 30 seconds before reconnecting the charger and turning it on. This can help clear temporary power issues. If the screen remains black, connect your laptop to an external monitor using an HDMI or DisplayPort cable. If the external display works, then the issue may be with your laptop’s built-in screen rather than the system itself.

A black screen on a laptop can be caused by various software and hardware issues, including driver problems, overheating, or a faulty display or cable. Troubleshooting steps include restarting, checking the connection to an external monitor, updating drivers, and potentially addressing hardware issues.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of potential causes and solutions:

    1. Software Issues:
      Driver Problems:
Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can lead to black screens, especially after Windows updates. Update or reinstall display drivers via Device Manager or download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.
      Software Conflicts:
Boot into Safe Mode (refer to the specific steps for your operating system) to check if a recently installed program is causing the problem.
      Operating System Issues:
A corrupted system file or Windows update can also cause black screens. Try performing a System File Checker scan or repairing the system using the recovery tools.
      Power Settings:
Check your power settings in the Control Panel to ensure sleep/hibernation settings are not prematurely blacking out the screen.
    2. Hardware Issues:
      Overheating:
Check for dust buildup in vents and use a cooling pad to prevent overheating.
      External Display:
Connect to an external monitor to determine if the laptop's display or graphics card is faulty.
      Display Cable:
Ensure the cable connecting the display to the laptop is securely connected and not damaged.
      Hardware Errors:
Run a hardware diagnostic test to check for issues with the RAM, hard drive, or other hardware components.
      Power Supply:
A faulty power supply can also cause black screens, especially if the laptop is frequently experiencing power interruptions.
      Graphics Card:
A failing graphics card can cause a black screen or other display issues.
    3. Other Potential Causes:
Malware: Run a full system scan with your antivirus software to rule out malware as the cause.
Physical Damage: Check for any visible signs of physical damage to the laptop or display.
Interference: Ensure there are no magnetic objects or strong fields near the laptop.
    4. Troubleshooting Steps:
Restart: A simple restart can sometimes resolve temporary software glitches.
Check Connections: Ensure all cables and external devices are securely connected.
Hard Reset: If the laptop doesn't respond to a regular restart, try a hard reset (holding the power button until it turns off and then turning it back on).
External Display: Connect to an external monitor to see if the issue is with the laptop's display.
Safe Mode: Boot into Safe Mode to isolate potential software issues.
Driver Updates: Update or reinstall display drivers via Device Manager.
Hardware Diagnostic: Run a hardware diagnostic test to check for any component failures.
Consult a Professional: If the issue persists, it's best to consult a qualified technician for further diagnosis and repair.
