Hello everyone, is there a big difference between the PO7-650 and PO7-655 with XMP ? I would also change my ram because it runs only with 4400 Mhz ! My Predator 7000 has an i7-14700 KF and RTX 4090. Which kind of DDR5 with RGB Light matches exactly to my Orion 7000

The difference between the Acer Predator Orion 7000 PO7-650 and PO7-655 primarily lies in the RAM configuration and potentially the CPU and graphics card, with the 655 often offering a higher RAM speed and/or capacity with XMP. While both models are high-performance gaming PCs, the 655's XMP support can lead to slightly faster memory speeds and improved performance in certain workloads.

Here's the memory specification details for PO7-650

Both the Kingston Fury Beast RGB DDR5 and Acer Predator Vesta II RGB DDR5 are good options.
The Predator Vesta II is a safe bet optimized for Acer Desktop. If you prefer wider compatibility & slightly better pricing, Kingston Fury Beast RGB is excellent. Avoid mismatched speeds if your laptop supports only 4800MHz, buying 5600MHz may downclock it.

Thx, but its an desktop not an laptop ! I think 5600 or 6000 Mhz is more than enough for gaming. I actually play on 2560x1440p 240 Hz G Sync Ultra with DLS on Ultra performance. i hope the ram upgrade runs well i dont want to destroy my predator :(

Thank you very much. If i buy a 6000 MHz DDR5 RAM why should it run with only 4800 MHz, maybe because i have not enabled XMP. I am looking for a DDR5 RAM with RGB Lights vor Predator 7000 PO7-655. This memory modules which have been given from Acer dont have RGB Lights. I need a DDR5 RAM with RGB which dont make me to much trouble. Plug in, enable XMP and start playing without any issues.

There are several compatible options with RGB lighting available. For example, you can consider the Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 5600MHz DIMM or the Kingston FURY Beast RGB DDR5 5600MHz DIMM modules.

Hope the best! Post your experience after updating the memory modules. Check the return policy before buying RAM, especially since compatibility can sometimes be tricky with laptops.

    Hello Sharanji

    IMG_2192.jpeg

here is a picture from the actual RAM. They are from ADATA which is not bad at all ! But i checked the high from the corsair vengance and dominator and i think i will have a Problem with the space because of the Connection from the gpu ! I need something which is 40 mm of high maybe ADATA XPG Blade RGB CL30 6000 MHz. Corsair would be nice but they are to big from high.

The Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5600 MHz CL30 memory module features a low-profile design, measuring 35mm (1.38 inches) in height, with a standard DIMM width and a depth of approximately 7mm (0.28 inches).

The ADATA XPG Blade RGB DDR5 6000 MHz CL30 memory module features a low-profile heatsink design with dimensions of 133.35mm in length, 40mm in height, and 7.86mm in depth, offering compatibility with small chassis, efficient heat dissipation, and customizable RGB lighting.
