To maximize game performance on your Acer Nitro 5, you can enable game mode, optimize power plan settings, ensure your drivers are up to date, and consider upgrading your SSD or graphics card. Additionally, you can leverage NitroSense's CoolBoost feature and adjust CPU/GPU undervolting for better temperature and wattage management.
    Detailed Steps:

    1. Enable Game Mode:
Access Windows Settings > Gaming and disable features like Game bar, Game DVR, and Game Mode. This can free up resources and potentially improve performance.
    2. Optimize Power Plan:
In the Control Panel, adjust power management settings for battery and performance. Consider setting it to "High performance" when plugged in.
    3. Update Drivers:
Ensure your NVIDIA graphics drivers are up-to-date by uninstalling GeForce Experience and updating the drivers. Also, update your Intel Graphics adapters.
    4. Consider Upgrades:
If you're looking for a more significant performance boost, consider upgrading your storage to an SSD for faster load times and overall system responsiveness. You can also explore upgrading your graphics card if your model allows for it.
    5. Leverage NitroSense:
Utilize NitroSense's CoolBoost feature to improve cooling and reduce thermal throttling, which can negatively impact performance. You can also explore CPU and GPU undervolting within NitroSense for potentially better wattage management and performance.
    6. Defragment Your Disk:
If you're using an HDD, defragmenting it can improve performance, especially if it's fragmented after transferring data from another device.
    7. Disable Unnecessary Software:
Uninstall or disable any third-party software that you don't need, including screen recording/overlay software and anti-virus software.
    8. Check for Windows Bloatware:
Consider "debloating" Windows by removing unnecessary applications that might be running in the background.
    9. Adjust Start-up Programs:
Disable unnecessary programs from starting automatically with your computer.
    10. Experiment with GeForce Experience Optimization:
Use GeForce Experience's game optimization feature to get optimal video settings for specific games, but note that it may not work well for all titles, especially esports games.
