Well I am crushed. Absolutely have loved this CB since purchase in May 2022. And just sitting here doing nothing the display just developed what seems to be a common issue of fine horizontal lines. I never use the flip feature and avoid opening and closing it precisely to avoid connection type issues but there it is and not yet its third birthday. I mean even my crappy HP Chromebook took longer than that to have an issue (same failure mode). Is there any remedy? I'm game to open it up but this thing is supported for another 6 years but now toast and relegated to an external display?????
haven't done powerwash yet but it's not a software issue from all indications (recovery mode still shows defect; emailed a screenshot to another device with no symptoms and issue is gone)
Pretty sure Model is CP713-3W-5102
I even had the 2 year warranty, guess I needed 3.
