I did find that there was another driver update for Windows 8 here:

    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23169&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%208%2C%2064-bit*&DownloadType=%0A%09%09%09%09%09%09%09Software%20Applications%0A%09%09%09%09%09%09

    (latest is 16.1.5).

The wireless now seems to be holding - been 40 minutes which is 4 times the best I was able to do prior.

Intel recommends settings for your adaptor at this site and one for channel width 2.4 was different than the way the S7 came set up (mine came set to 20 mhz only) so I changed that too. Here's the link to recommended settings:

Thanks for details on the latest driver.

Has anyone also noticed that, when you connect HDMI cable, and then project to second screen...all network connectivity is lost??  I've empirically narrowed it down.

    Connect HDMI cable, and...

    * PC screen only - Wifi OK

    * Duplicate screen - No wifi

    * Extend screen - No wifi

    * Second screen only - No wifi

When either returning to PC screen only, or removing HDMI cable, wifi connectivity returns immediately!!

Wondering if this is due to Haswell's SoC implementation, or merely firmware issue.  Anyone else seeing this?

Hard to use the computer to stream to TV, which is something I liked to do with old laptop, have not tried yet with new S7-392
