Contact seller and ask for return and replacement as you are probably under return and replacement policy. Brand new laptop should not ask password.

If your new laptop is asking for a password, it's likely the previous user didn't fully clean it up before selling or it might be a factory-set default password. If you have the documentation or manufacturer's website, you can find a default password. If not, a factory reset (which will erase all data) or a clean install of the operating system may be necessary.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of potential causes and solutions:

    1. Previous User's Account and Password:
The laptop might still have an existing user account with a password set by the previous owner.
If you bought it used, the previous user may not have fully removed their account before selling it, and their password might be required.
    2. Factory-Set Default Password:
Some manufacturers set a default password for the administrator account on new laptops.
You can check your laptop's documentation or the manufacturer's website for information about default passwords.
