I am having trouble with my Android System Key. It doesn't work with I have my VPN on. What do I need to do to correct the issue?

Do you mean the Android System Key Verifier app? What VPN are you trying to use? Which Android device do you have?

    Billsey,

I'm not sure if it is an app.? I hope this is what you mean—I have a Acer Chromebook 315. If that helps. I don't understand everything about computers, but I am trying.

BTW—Its the Android Keystore, so I don't know if it is an app. What it is doing is not making me secure is what I understand.

I hope that helps. Let me know if I can tell you more. I'm a bit computer illiterate. LOL

    Thanks,

    JHentz

There have actually been a bunch of different 315 models. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like Cx315-xxx-xxxx. The Keystore is where Android keeps security keys for use with various apps. A VPN is very likely going to use that to negotiate connections. What is the specific error that it generates and which VPN app are you using?

My model number is CB315-4H series. I hope that is what you needed. And I am using Proton VPN. And I can send a screenshot of the error it generates. It will be down below. I screenshot 2 pics so hopefully it will be easy to read. If you need more info, just write back.

Thank you so much for your help,

    J.

Okay, so a late 2021 release model. Which version of the OS is running on it? The Android that runs under the ChromeOS is a little older than what runs on phones, but shouldn't be so old as to trigger that warning.

I am trying to find my version of OS. I am having trouble, but I am still looking. Although, it may be Chrome OS. Not sure. Let me know if you need more info and I will look. I will still look for the version. If that is it then let me know.

    Thanks so much!!
