Actually this is the first time I've ever had a laptop since my parents gave it to me in my 18th birthday, and I did a lot of researching about this laptop and other people says that its gpu sucks. Is there any way that I can upgrade or replace it?

Hi, the Acer Aspire A715-76G has a dedicated GPU (dGPU) that is soldered onto the motherboard, which means it cannot be upgraded. This is a common limitation in most laptops, as the GPU is integrated into the system design for space and thermal management.

As for an eGPU (external GPU), the Aspire A715-76G does not have a Thunderbolt port, which is typically required for seamless eGPU compatibility. However, some users explore alternative methods, such as connecting an eGPU via the M.2 slot or Wi-Fi card slot. These methods are not officially supported, can be complex, and may void your warranty. If you're considering this.

Acer has listed compatible M.2 SSDs for the Aspire 7 A715-76G, but you’re not limited to those options. High-performance Gen 4 M.2 SSDs like the WD SN850X or Samsung 990 Pro are excellent choices. These drives are available in capacities of 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB, and they will significantly boost your laptop’s speed and performance.
