How can I get drivers needed to install windows 11. New Laptop, Registered, started installing software, system crashed bigly. Downloaded Window 11 install .iso and created an install media. Went to install and of course I needed some drivers, so I contacted Acer.

1st time rep said he would send look into it, and have advanced support team member contact me. Days later advanced support contacted me and after 40 minutes, he finally figured out what I needed, and said he would send me an install media. 2 weeks later I contacted Acer again and the agent said they wouldn'1t be able to do that, no apology, no excuse, and actually hung up on me.

OK, I'll admit I'm an [Content Removed], or at least shouldn't have been so excited to fire up my new machine, that I hadn't created a recovery disk.

Well a little more research later I realized I could find said drivers on the Acer site. No so, now it telling me my, S/N isn't valid. and my device isn't registered. Now I can't even contact support, they won't talk to you without a valid serial number. And yes I entered it about 20 times to make sure. Help!!!! I need drivers for my new Acer Swift Go 14, in order to reinstall windows.

Worse Support I've ever had, I used to do customer support for Google. Can't wait to do a review on this purchase.

Hi, SFG14-73-976H? If that is your laptop model, click on this link to download the drivers: Product Support - SFG14-73 | Acer United States What Windows version are you trying to install? If Windows11 23H2 that needs to be downloaded from UUPdump.net not Microsoft support. the only driver you need is Intel IRST (version 20.0.0.1037) that you unzip and copy (not install) to the USB drive with the Windows ISO file. https://community.acer.com/en/kb/articles/13832-hard-disk-not-detected-during-windows-10-installation All other drivers will be installed by Windows11 during the installation.

To install Win-11 you need to go to the Acer support page for your Swift Go 14 (whatever model it is, should be something like SFG14-xx, it written on a sticker on the underneath of your laptop) and get the Intel RST driver so that Wn-11 recognizes the M.2 SSD boot drive, this is installed at Win-11 section "Where do you want to install windows? > load driver as then you will be able to continue and finish the installation of Win-11 24H2 that will be updated to the last OS build: 26100.3476. That is all that you need to do and its a very simple process.
