Acer Nitro V15 won`t turn on without battery

I own two Acer Nitro V15 laptops, both purchased about a month ago, and I have encountered a recurring issue with turning them on. After regular use, I shut them down as usual. However, when I attempt to turn them on the next day, they do not respond unless I connect the charger.

When I press the power button, the battery indicator on the right side blinks five times, but the laptops do not start. Both devices exhibit this issue, so it seems unlikely to be related to a single faulty battery, especially as the batteries are fully charged. After several attempts, the problem eventually resolves itself, and the laptops function normally. This issue reappears sporadically, approximately every one to two weeks.

I have noticed a similar issue discussed on the community page but am unsure whether this is a manufacturer-related problem that requires me to bring both laptops to a service center, especially since both devices are affected. Additionally, I have enabled the limited battery charging feature, which caps the charge at 80%, and I wonder if this setting could be contributing to the problem.

I would appreciate any insights or solutions to address this persistent issue.

I found an answer regarding updating BIOS, I`ll try that, hopefully, it will fix the problem.

What is the full model number of your laptop? AN-XX-XXXX

Try a power reset. To reset your Acer laptop using the battery reset pinhole, first ensure the laptop is turned off and unplugged from the AC adapter. Locate the battery reset pinhole on the bottom of your laptop, usually marked with a battery icon. Using a small paperclip or a similar object, press and hold the reset button inside the pinhole for about 5 seconds. After releasing the button, wait for approximately 5 minutes before plugging in the AC adapter and powering on your laptop. This process temporarily disconnects and reconnects the internal battery, which can help resolve power and battery-related issues.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
