Aspire A715-51G laptop only works when plugged in, Battery icon disappears & No batteries detected
Since the last 2 weeks my laptop is only running while connected to charger and turning off immediately when the charger is disconnected and the battery icon on the taskbar disappeared
I ran powercfg/batteryreport and it showed that no batteries were currently installed.
Then I tried uninstalling and reinstalling/updating the battery drivers but the issue remains. Tried updating windows, resetting battery through pinhole, disconnecting and connecting back battery physically, resetting CMOS but the problem still persists.
Please help.

Check if the battery is fully charged, if so, reset the battery with a pin in the reset pinhole at the back of the laptop while everything is disconnected from the laptop. Blue seems to mean power, and orange means a battery problem. Remove the charger. Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds.
The most common culprit is a faulty or dead battery. Over time, laptop batteries degrade and lose their ability to hold a charge. If your battery is old, it may not be able to power your laptop anymore. Try removing and re-inserting the battery to see if that solves the issue. Your charging cable could also have a weak connection because it wasn't made by your laptop's manufacturer. Your charging ports could be clogged with dirt or debris that is keeping it from powering up properly. A laptop tune-up and thorough cleaning can help.——————————————————————————

You can start by performing a battery reset. Locate the battery reset pinhole on the bottom of the laptop, insert a paperclip or pin gently, press and hold it for around 5 seconds, then plug in the charger and try turning the laptop on again. Visit Acer's website and download the latest BIOS update for your laptop model, carefully following the instructions provided. Lastly, test with another compatible charger to rule out any problems with your current power adapter.
