I have a problem initializing SSD on my new Acer extensa 15 ex215-57.
I have no possibility to initialize SSD from the other laptop/PC with windows. I tried to format SSD using diskpart from windows installer console, but my SSD is not visible at all.

when you do a clean install of Windows, you need to put the unzipped IRST driver version onto the Win boot installation USB, as you need to install this driver at the windows installation section of "Where do you want to install Windows? > and then you load the IRST driver from the USB, for the installation to recognize your SSD boot drive. Do all that and you will be able to install a clean version of Windows. Its a very simple process.

Click on this link to download the latest Intel IRST driver IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver

Unzip the file and copy the IRST driver (don't install) to the USB drive with the windows11 ISO file  https://community.acer.com/en/kb/articles/13832-hard-disk-not-detected-during-windows-10-installation

You can download other drivers and app for your laptop Extensa 215-57 downloads

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

And you don't want to initialize the drive before the install. Windows requires more than one partition on a bootable drive, and will create all needed ones when you choose the unallocated space on a blank drive.
