Yes, some Acer laptops, particularly those with the Acer Care Center software, offer a battery charge limiter that can be set to stop charging at a specific percentage, like 70% or 80%.

Within Acer Care Center, you can often find a setting to limit the maximum battery charge, allowing you to set a specific percentage as the charging cutoff. Limiting the maximum charge can help prolong the lifespan of your laptop's battery, especially if you frequently leave your laptop plugged in.

Open the Acer Care Center app.
Look for a battery management or charging settings section.
Find the option to limit the maximum charge percentage.

If you don't have the option:
Make sure you have the latest version of Acer Care Center installed.
Check your laptop's model number and see if there are any specific instructions or software updates available from Acer. Acer downloads

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

@AnhEZ28 That's weird because in Acer Care Center I have the option of a Battery charge limit, which is at 80% but I can't dynamically change it.

That function is available from the AN515-55 model and above.

The Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54, like many other Acer laptops, has a battery limiter feature accessible through the Acer Care Center app, allowing you to set a maximum charge level, such as 80%, to extend battery life.
    Here's how to enable it:-
Launch Acer Care Center: Open the Acer Care Center application on your laptop.
Navigate to Battery Health: Click on the "Checkup" option, then click the right arrow next to "Battery Health".
Enable Battery Charge Limit: Enable the toggle under "Battery Charge Limit" to set a maximum charge level, such as 80%.
Optional: Set the Limit: You can adjust the percentage to your preference.
