  • Solution that work for others who faced same issue after doing same thing-

    • Physically disconnect the storage unit (M2 SSD) from the laptop motherboard.
    • Power it on while mashing F2 again. Since the custom animation is now missing, the default animation will play and you will have time to open the BIOS.
    • Once inside the BIOS menu, on the Main sub-menu, you can disable POST Animation & Sound.
    • Save and shutdown.
    • Reinstall your SSD on the motherboard.
    • Power on your laptop.
    • Open up PredatorSense and PURGE the bloody gif that started all this.

As for custom animations others faced same issue and most of them no longer use this feature as they don't want same trouble . We don't know what custom animation work properly withwithout causing these issue.

    Can't find it

  • Create a Supervisor Password: Go to the Security tab, set a password (easy like 1234), save settings, then re-enter BIOS to check if the option is available. Also check other tabs

You can try enabling the F12 boot menu in the BIOS.

@AnhEZ28 i want to try to adjust it like this , but maybe the way to do this is to format the SSD and if so i hope the gif disapppears

Do a hard reset which resets the bios chip properly, as the Acer logo is embedded in the bios chip. take the back cover off take the main battery out and disconnect the bios battery plug then short the bios battery plugs +&- pins to reset CMOS, leave the laptop like that for 1 hour so that its bios and EC and chipset chips reset, then put everything back together and reboot the laptop as it should regain the oem Acer logo and reset the bios for the laptop to boot properly. If it doesn’t, then you need to reprogram the bios chip by a technician, which is not a hard job and will be done for a minimal fee.

Go to the BIOS again and reset the BIOS setting to default.

@StevenGen where would the small short + and - be? and wouldn't it be risky to burn something?

Hey pedri, this post is about the Nitro ANV15-51 laptop, what is that laptop model above that you have a caption for? As that is NOT an ANV15-51. What I meant by shortening the +&- bios battery pins is at the mainboard bios battery plug, you use a small metal screwdriver to just touch the +7- pins to short them monetarily when the laptop has NO POWER and its adapter and main battery and bios battery are not plugged into the laptop and the laptop has NO POWER. As doing that resets the CMOS and the bios chip and EC and Chipset chips of the laptop. So don't worry about "and wouldn't it be risky to burn something?" as it will not! How can any chip be short or be burned if there is NO POWER to the laptop!

This is the Nitro ANV15-51 bios battery and its mainboard plug where the +&- pins have to be shorted to reset CMOS, its a very simple thing to do. Do that to the laptop pictured above also.

@StevenGen yes, maybe they are not the same devices, but it is the same problem as the gif, I unplugged the batteries and I will try to find where I have to put the key, because it was not very clear to me, sorry

but how will it generate a mini short circuit if the main BATTERY is NOT connected and the POWER SUPPLY is not either? @StevenGen

@StevenGen I saw videos on how to do it, but even with everything turned off and connecting the pins, it didn't work. I'm going to give it one last try. I put a micro cable connecting the two and I'll leave it for 1 hour and then I'll take it out and leave it for 1 hour to connect everything.

If your Acer Nitro V15 (ANV15-51-574G) froze after setting a custom GIF in NitroSense, try a hard reset by disconnecting the power adapter and holding down the power button for 15 seconds, then reconnecting the power adapter and trying to turn it on.

    1. Hard Reset:
Disconnect the power adapter from your laptop.
If your Nitro V15 has a removable battery, take it out.
Hold down the power button for about 15 seconds.
Reconnect the power adapter (without the battery if you removed it).
Try turning on the laptop again.
    2. Check for Overheating:
Ensure your laptop is well-ventilated and not placed on a soft surface that blocks air vents.
Clean the air vents and cooling fans to remove dust buildup.
Use a laptop cooling pad to help dissipate heat.
Monitor the CPU and GPU temperatures during normal usage and gaming to see if they are excessively high.
    3. Check for Software Issues:
Run a full antivirus scan: Malware or viruses can cause system instability.
Update BIOS: Check for and install the latest BIOS version for your laptop.
Update Drivers: Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date.
Check for Disk Fragmentation: Run a disk defragmentation tool to optimize storage performance.
Check Power Settings: Ensure your laptop's power settings are optimized for performance rather than energy saving.
    4. Check for Graphics Issues:
Disable NVIDIA/AMD Dedicated Graphics Card: Temporarily disable the dedicated graphics card and test the laptop's performance.
Boot in Safe Mode: Boot into Safe Mode and check if the issue persists.
