Hi folks, first time poster here.

I bought an Acer computer (P07) back in Oct last year and from out the box it really wasn't running great (hanging up, windows blue screens many games would not play or crashed during gameplay).

I contacted Acer to have the computer picked up for repair/diagnosis Feb 2025 after coming to my wits end with the constant crashing.

Since then, I have been playing tennis e-mail with their support team who have sent the wrong size tote box twice and then a larger tote box twice which has never reached me.

I then contacted Acer technical help who told me that they actually don't have a tote box big enough to take my computer and I'll need to get packaging and send it to them!! ( I don't live on mainland U.K.)

Does anyone know if I'm entitled to a new machine/refund/alternative machine or what as I only want to play computer games on a machine that works.

Safe to say Acer will be nowhere near my next computer list.

Any help would be appreciated.

You should always keep the original Acer retail box and foam padding that the desktop came with from Acer, if you bought this Predator Orion 7000 2024 last year, it should the model PO7-655 desktop, and you should have kept the original box for at least the 12 months warranty period so that you can send the desktop in that box back to Acer Tech Support if anything is wrong with the desktop!

Acer are not obliged to send you an appropriate mailing box to fit a desktop computer as you should have the original box. Anyway, if you threw the original box away, get another appropriate carboard box or two add some foam or bubble wrap and make a suitable insulated padded box that you can send the PO7-655 desktop to Acer Tech Support in, so that they can fix it. Its a very simple task to do. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

In regards to your warranty questions, the warranty terms are different for each locale, so we have no way to say what is covered and what isn't. In most cases you are expected to deal with returning the system, either using the original box or a replacement, but in some locales they might have something sent to you instead.
